Hi all, my 1st post on this site but have been using the forum for sometime sorting faults out on previous motorhome.
I have just bought a Bailey Approach 730 and am really happy with it. only issue is the famous wonky fresh water level indicator. Fill it full till it overflows but the gauge on the control panel reads 40% full. When it reaches 0% the pump switches off but on inspection of the tank it is still over half full.
I read on this site there is a way recalibrating the control panel?
Anybody have instructions of how to complete this recalibration.
Why not take it back to dealer I hear you say, well its a 150 mile round trip and I don't relish the trip just to press a few buttons.
Any help much appreciated

Why not ask the dealer?
A phone call to their service dept costs nothing.
Surprised it's not in the handbook if it's a common issue

There is a download in the resources section which might be useful, see tab at top of page

Ok, all sorted. Used the document in resources section suggested by Polly and Arthur. Spot on and all working fine now.
Did contact dealer as suggested but as I feared their only suggestion was to bring the M/H back. Not willing to discuss any other option.
Did try the facebook group but could not find them, that may have been me as not sure how you search for closed groups.
Anyway the result in the end was the right one. Thanks

Glad you asked that, we have recently bought a 730 and when full the gauge shows 70%. Will sort that out!

Glad to be of help. It would seem the approach range are coming from the factory without the water tank being calibrated. Just follow the document to the letter and all will be fine.
