My Sterling B2B alarms identifying voltage drop when I turn my inverter on.

I usually turn the B2B off but i was wondering if there is another fix so don't need to mess about with the sterling every time.

All cables are within spec and fused.

Any thoughts

At what load? What are you running of the inverter? What size cables from inverter to battery, and what batteries?

I’m pretty sure it’s 16 mm2 with about 2 mts length.

And strangely it does it without a load, just when I turn the inverter on.

The inverter cable is 16mm2? Look for bad connection to inverter. As you turn it on, it charges the caps and it creates a surge for a second. This maybe is bringing the voltage below alarm setting.

Will have a check tomorrow.

That was the cable size from b2b. I think the inverter is higher.
