Hi, does anyone use the screw in ones if so which drill do you use don't want to use a expensive one, any recommendations or is it just as easy to use the ones you hammer in.

I used the steel long flat head nail type pegs with a plastic hook and hammer them in.
If I know it’s going to be windy or pitch in a windy area, I have some Delta Ground Anchor Ultimate tent pegs. These are plastic and are at a 90degree angle and are fantastic.

I have seen a few people using the Peggy Pegs type with a basic battery drill, they (the pegs) aren't cheap though, think they are from DE. Keep thinking about getting a few for the awning legs

The few times I have pegged the awning I use the screw in ones, good for hard ground, gravel etc, and use a cheap battery drill from Argos, it gets charged once in a while, and when it eventually dies then bin it.
Just get an adapter and socket to go with it to fit top of pegs.
Also handy for changing wheels etc if ever needed .
