Further re my previous, I have often seen mention of a 'secret' menu on Avtex tv's..
With the newish 32" version, how does one get to it ??

I guess it may be model specific, I've no clue about the 32" version but saved a bookmark to the following link a few years ago in case it came in handy back then:-

https://caravanchronicles.com/equipment-reviews/avtex-185tr-led-tv/

Example extract:-

1 – Press “source” button on remote

2 – Enter code “2580” on the numeric keypad while select source menu is still on screen.

3 – Adjust to show ‘DivX’ ON

4 – Press ‘source to exit.

I would guess it's outdated or not relevant to your tv, but it maybe worth a punt just to rule it out if no other leads...

We have a 18.5 ins L186DR and were having problems with it keeping the channels

Avtex asked us to do a Factory Reset and it was pretty much as the above:

1. Press the "Source" button
2. With "Source" menu on screen press 2580
3. From Menu select "Factory Reset"

It is a L327TRS Rowley

Sorted !
According to Avtex the number is 0852..
But thanks to @RowleyBirkinQC and @Clickem coming up with the 2580 it is job done :-)

Must be model specific, as just tried 2580, which works and 0852 does not, on our TV. Both numbers are either straight down or straight up the middle of the number key pad, so easy for engineers to remember

Old thread but my 6 year old Avtex has just gone orrible, working fine then all colours started to merge into a watery unsharp unwatchable picture, tried factory reset but no change, same problem on terrestrial and satellite signals.
Any ideas or is it binit ?
