Avtex l249drs Pro

Hi All,

I'm trying to find out if the Avtex l249 Pro has any pre-loaded apps already installed, or confirm that you are able to download apps to it (Netflix, Amazon, BBC iPlayer, etc).

Can anyone with this model or another Avtex smart TV offer any assistance please.

I know this doesn’t answer your question, but.... have you thought about using an Amazon firestick? You can download all of those apps & more besides, and it is very much easier to use than most smart TVs. It is powered from the tv usb & is fairly cheap (down to about £20 with some special offers). That’s what we use with our Avtex (admittedly not a smart tv tho).

It is, but for a smart TV it is pretty dumb!

As suggested you would be better off buying a Amazon Firestick or a ROKU stick into the HDMI port

You cannot on ours but we do use the Amazon Firestick and also Prime video through a tablet.

Thanks for all of those replies. I think I'll go with the non-smart version and get a Firestick
