Buy a meter OR pay for a habitation check by a professional.
I was once the owner of a new 2012 Apache 700. Had it for 7 years but for 6 of those 7 years it had water ingress problems.
Lucky for me it had the new 10 year warranty and so all repairs were covered under guarantee.
Loved the van but so annoyed about the issues, there are horror stories about autotrails and damp BUT also many owners who have never had issues..
If it's a private purchase check as much as you can.
Main problem areas for me were. This failed check a few times, finally had to have a new side wall fitted.
Dinette offside side wall just behind the driver.
Around the windows.
Locker doors outside under the U lounge
Rear Heki roof light
Anywhere just above the floor level.

Buy a decent damp meter and do your own. I wouldn't trust any dealer to do it properly unless standing over them. Also use your eyes and your nose, look in cupboards etc.
