Anyone having problems with card payments at tolls ? (1 Viewer)

We’ve been motorhoming a long time, especially in France. We don’t use motorways a lot, but they can be handy. Anyway, recently ALL our cards have been refused at at least 3 different booths - cc, bank and currency card. Luckily we had the cash, is it just us ?

Yup - driving non-stop from near Anger to the Italian border a couple of years back we used five different cards. It's why we have an emovis tag now . . . .

Not only did we have trouble with cards being accepted, one of them was cloned (in the days when there were real people in the Péage toll booths). Tag for us from then on!
