We are in Portugal, for a little sport we play fly tennis we both have fly swats Marion and myself.
So it's one point per fly 21 point's a game, if you get two with one swipe it's double points four point's. If they are easy target's for example on the floor or table that's half a point.
And I don't believe all life is sacred they are just annoying flies.
By the way the bats are .50p each so it's a relatively cheap sport.

I forgot to add the dead flies are not wasted as the ants love them and scurry around collecting them. Lol
