Feeling bit bad after reading this post, have to be honest and say we always park where our awning faces the sun in the evening as thats when we spend time at the van,we quite often drive in cab first, didn't realise you should always reverse in. We will consider this when parking up in future but not if it means being in full shade.

My hab door is always on the right. Even when I turn the motorhome round it is still on the right. Hope I never go on a site requiring the door to be on the left.

We park facing the best view. Don't care if we reverse or drive in forward.
Never yet been told we have to turn round.

Stayed on a site recently and was told its the law that you have to park with the door on the right.

Ahh! That must have been Sod's law.
The warden was a cranky sod.
