An Invitation to all 'Newbies'

We were all, once upon a time, 'Newbies' at various sites, wondering, 'how do I do this', 'go to that' etc.

We are very much aware that in some circs. throwing yourself in at the deep end of the social aspect of Fun could be a daunting thought.

With that in mind I am extending an invitation to all those of you to whom motorhoming and rallies in particular may be a foreign concept.

I have, just now, posted a Motorhome Fun Rally to take place next Easter at Pershore. It is in the 'Sheduled Rallies' Section on the Fun Site. Have a read and if you would like to attend, follow the instructions on the Opening Page of the Rally. All you have to do is post up the words, "I'd like to attend." but make sure you do your post AFTER 7PM NEXT SUNDAY 10TH DECEMBER. Only that piece of information is vital.

You can be assured of a warm welcome and a great way of putting real faces to those Funster handles.

If it is full by 7.01pm then a part of my anatomy will be displayed on Batley Town Hall steps. The tykes amongst you will know the proper wordage for the above but I'm a gentleman so I'll refrain. However, I promise I will still do it.

The fastest we have ever filled Avon Bank was, I believe for the Plum Rally, Pre Covid and that was, I believe either 16 or 22mins.

Lets just wait and see.

I can tell you that I expect a Funster or three to commit to a Pre emptive strike and post at 6.59pm (by the clock on this forum) It always happens.

I can say that I will not be hovering on the Forum at that time as I have to go oop North with friends on Sunday but, as said, I will not put any Funster on 'The List' who posts up their request Pre 7.00pm
