Alden SSCDBS2 satellite system in MH

Bought a second hand mercedes Bourton autosleeper in September . It came with extras one being an Alden Satellite System. Had no problem thus far but getting everything ready for our next trip ,the unit has developed a problem. The dish up top is closed. But the unit is showing the message 'closing.
I have tried turning on and off but to no avail. I can't get beyond the message.i have no instruction manual and am at a loss of how to rectify the problem. I'm waiting for a reply from RoadPro as it seems they deal with the brand. Anyone on this forum have any answers at all.? I would be ever so grateful for ideas on the problem or solution. Do you require the dish or would a fire stick type usb steaming stick be better for your usage ?
What channels do you like to watch ?
