Alde pump settings

I see i have values of 1 - 5 on my pump speed on my 3010 Alde heating, What speed setting do people use generally?

I’m not sure mine is adjustable but remember reading between 2 and 3 is normal.

I can definately hear the speed difference when i change it, it was on 2 and just wondered if it should be higher

Oddly we had ours serviced by Alde 2 years and I queried the noisy pump

turns out we didn’t have an Alde pump, just one Hymer must have had or used to save a few bob maybe

We now have the correct pump fitted ad can’t hear the pump at all, but it has set on three as suggested by Alde, we are 8m long not sure if that affects their thinking

what we can now hear is an air circulation fan we didn’t even know we had but compared to the old water pump it is near silent

I understand that during testing of the system it will be turned up to 5 but should be turned down again afterwards (some dealers forget to do this!) It is recommended to be set at 2, I believe .
