Alde Compact 3020 He

I've read in the instruction that this system can pre-heat the engine, is this an optional extra or standard on the Alde system. The reason for asking is, I've pressed the activation (A) button and located the engine heating logo, but nothing happens when I push it. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, please.

Do you have a heat exchanger that heats the van while you drive? If so this needs to be turned on but also a small pump in the engine heater circuit needs to run.

Thanks funflair. I'll take a look in the morning. It's bl**dy cold out there at the moment. Would you have any idea where the neat exchanger that heats the van when driving is located.

Sorry, every van is different so you would be best off asking the question via a new thread with your van details in the title possibly. When you press the activation button you should hear a small pump running in the engine bay.
