Air con parts

Like many others, the recent hot weather has highlighted some issues with air con.

I have a leak in one of the pipes. Everything else is ok but the guy said the condenser has seen better days.

This is the pipe and it's been rubbing against the bracket that is holding it in place.

It looks like it has been bodged a bit so I am wondering if this is an original Fiat part? If so can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere that sells them? The pipe is crimped on to a rubber section that then goes back in to a pipe where it joins the filter unit. Quite fiddly to get off I'd imagine.

It's either that or I'll need to find someone to make one up for me.

Anyone any idea what part it would be?

If I stick my chassis number in to a Fiat ID site it tells me its a 245 but most spare parts site don't have a 245. Nearest being a 244

May be able to remove it and repair with aluminium brazing rods.

I have done it. But it’s a fine art as the melting point is critical

I did wonder about repairing it. Guess I'd need it out to see just how much damage there is there.

One thing for sure, if it's not mig-able I won't be touching it

I phoned a local garage who said "yes, no problem we will fix that" then got the call to say Fiat don't make the hose anymore and there is nothing they can do so come and pick it up.

Apart from finding someone to repair it is there any other options I have? I've tried my local scrappies but very rare to get any Ducato bits in.
