after market arm rests

has anybody put aftermarket arm rests on to existing seats just wondered if you had to take the seat cover off or is there an easy way off course new arm rests came without any fitting info thanks in advance

drivers seat r/h armrest X250 help please

I pushed the armrest back too far and now its gone all floppy! Any idea how to take it apart to see whats gone wrong? Did search but found nothing. Anyone got a workshop diagram? Thanks if u can help Bern

The photo should give u an idea how they fit on a ducato as a starting point. Not sure your seats will even have the pre threaded holes.
You could try poking through the cover with a heavy duty neddle to try and find out.
