Advice needed

Hi to everyone, i need some advice about phone coverage in France/ Spain going to have to get a new phone very soon( contract or sim free) and will need it next year for travelling down to Spain , have looked at the deals that 3 do also Voda phone re data but which has the best coverage? not looked at EE or O2 too expensive , i know this has been done before but i thought it might be better to talk too the forum who's knowledge is far superior than the sale's people.

I used a 3 sim in my mifi in Spain and Portugal for 5 month over the winter and had no probs anywhere.
I leave next week for this trip and have a voda phone contract now so will test that this year
but others have said it,s fine in the past.

I have vodaphone and have always had good coverage in all of Spain. We have also done the west cost of France with good coverage.

When in France or Spain it doesn't matter what UK network you are on you will be able to roam on any network. Phone will auto select, or going into network selection on your phone turn auto off and choose a network when they appear on the screen after a minute or so

Changed the wife's contact from 3 to Vodafone after trouble getting through to her whilst she was having treatment in our local hospital.Had the same problem when in Spain last winter. 3 ... see ya.
