If you have a recent Adria Twin 640, could you please help me . I need to know if a second leisure battery could be fitted under the passenger seat. Even more helpful if you would measure under the passenger seat to give me the measure the dimensions under the passenger seat.

I’ve just fitted a extra battery in a Adrian twin 640, bit tight but it fits.

Hi
It does look tight, I'm interested in doing as well so if would answer my questions and may be some more photos please.
How much clearance is between the batteries and the seat swivel?
Did you need to remove any of the floor mat?
Did your van have a Schaudt booster WA121525 right next to the original battery and if so where have placed that?

Hi Paul
There is minimal distance between the top of the batteries and the swivel base, in fact the grey conduit is just touching. There was nothing next to the original battery, the mppt etc is under the driver’s seat. I installed a victron smart shunt and there was only just enough room for that.

There are quite a few wires that extrude from the bottom of the seats, do the wires not get tangled up with the battery top and terminals when the seats are swivelled which obviously you have to do a lot in a front lounge ?

I’m interested as there is a slight thought going through my mind about a new PVC in the future.
I have made some enquiries about a new V Line 635 Sport 160 Auto and cannot be given a delivery date this year.
or
Spend some more on present V Line, ie, lithium battery, B2B, up grade charger and additional solar panel, WiFi booster and leveller set up ?

Thankyou for that I will have to get the seat out and see if and where i can move the schaudt booster to.

Hi
Not sure what wires you have on yours, but the twin had only 2 small wires coming from the seat base ( assuming these are for the seat belt warning ).
