Any one used a CMC service pitch before? I use Abbey Wood three or four times a year, however, never parked on a service pitch, cannot even remember seeing them. No choice this time as site fully booked for my chosen dates with only a few service pitches left. Will I be able to stick my nose in the air and gentle wave my hands at those on standard pitches, or will I come away bitterly disappointed and annoyed I have had to pay the extra cost?🤷‍♂️

Normally they have grey water dumping, fresh water, a little night light, all on the pitch.
Some (though not seen many) have TV aerials with plug-in points.
Even seen 1 site with a little shed (maybe slightly posher than that) with a shower & toilet in it (per pitch).

If you can hook the water up full-time saves you topping off.

Unless you need to be at AW you’re probably better off going somewhere else and paying for a normal pitch.

Generally occupied by twin axle tuggers so you”ll luv it if that’s your scene.

All CMC serviced pitches are pretty much the same. You will get EHU, personal drinking water tap and small grey waste point that is really designed for those carrying a grey waste drainage pipe. We use a collapsible bucket so the grey waste disposal needs careful use to avoid spilling.
Might be a benefit if you are staying put for three nights as you can avoid the queue for the Service Point!
