The road is closed for the whole weekend from the friday evening until the monday morning. The official diversion is long, down the A357 at Wincanton and then eventually joins the A37. I was thinking about people who might add a day to Norden farm or might think they’d head off down to Topsham direction a day early.

Mind you it could affect anyone of course coming that way!

You can cut through Queen Camel / Marston Magna through to Yeovil and through Stoford to A37 (or through To Sherbourne through to Blandord Forum / Wimbourne ) to avoid the closure if going to Norden. If they are heading to Topsham from Norden they would go A35 from Dorchester .

It’s the weekend between Norden and Topsham. It’s easy if you happen to be going from Norden to Topsham you wouldn’t be anywhere near the A303.

Sherborne is a pain at the moment as Kitt Hill is closed so if you do come via Marston Magna you will find funny diversions around Sherborne. I know because I live there. This has caused a lot of traffic on the very narrow back road at Stoford out onto the main A37. It’s single lane.

I live on the Road through Stoford as it goes out to A37. Traffic is no worse than usual

I must have just been unlucky! I’ve had to go to a few meetings at Holt Mill. I probably just imagined it because the Bradford Abbas Stoford way is generally busier because more people are using that Rd to get to Yeovil from Sherborne to avoid the roadworks by Aldi. Fingers crossed they seem to be nearly finished.
