A Frames

Has the law changed or something? I live in Portugal and see the odd UK M/home towing with an A frame but a couple of weeks ago I actually saw a PT registered M/home towing a little PT reg Fiat on one. He came into the same site that I was on.

I am now having a trip around France as it is a bit cooler and I followed a French reg M/home towing a little French reg car on an A frame a couple of days ago. Only ever seen UK m/homes do it before.

Very strange.

I've seen a few on A frames here in France on French registered motorhomes. I don't think they are actually legal here though.
