Just caught a glimpse of the new A class tag Autotrail coming out of Brownhills at 7am this morning looked quite smart 👍

£100k before bits and bobs. Not sure about that.

Tested here

Single floor, tiny garage, not too favourable a review, from someone who nearly always raves about everything.

I notice the cables going to the LBs are still weedy at first glance.
Ive just gone through the task of ripping and replacing in my autotrail.

I was shown round a Knaus A class a few weeks ago by neighbours on a site I was staying....Im in love :h:

They tried it before with a large van and failed, I’m surprised that they have tried again with a large vehicle , a compact 6 m one would be better to practice on.

hmmmmm, seems to fall short in what most look for when looking to purchase an A class:unsure:

You'd have thought he might have closed the bedroom rooflight before taking it out for a drive? :whistle2:

In the next scene it seems to have closed itself...
Correct however ours has worked in reverse going over "severe" bumps in the road with it popping open!

I think that's the accident detection system, opens as an emergency escape hatch if it thinks you are about to roll, it's an expensive option...

I was going to comment on some of the views of this lovely looking m/home, but I will refrain before I sent to Coventry !

Does look nice I must say

There was one on the Clumber park site about a month ago, looked OK, I think they should have redesigned the back as well just to set it apart.

Could it have been the one in the video? That's where it was filmed!

You would think that with all the experience of the Trigano group behind them, plus a bit of research into what the market wants and needs, that they would have made slightly less of a hash of it

For £110k+ you’d think they could have use different fixtures and fittings from their cheaper vans, the shower screens looked very flimsy

Why do Autotrail have the side walls stick up higher than the roof line? Makes it look awkward and higher than it needs to be, why not use the height for headroom or underfloor storage.

The awning's recessed into the "extended" side wall rather than "stuck on" the side.

Ah right, clever. Does that mean the awning is standard? I haven’t bothered with an awning on my current or previous motorhome, I prefer to choose the extras I want.

Been there and done that 2008 bought a second hand one great van so bought a new Chieftain in 2010 took 18 months to get rid of it loved the layout but terrible customer service and lots of silly faults but then again I had loads of faults with a new Hymer that took around 3years to put right.🤣

I wouldn’t spend £110k of my money on it!!
I’d buy a Frankia or an Adria Sonic with that amount👍

On their upper end models, eg Frontier range it is.

Never catch on, for a start steering wheel, hab door & drivers door on the wrong side for an A Class.

Looks ugly, layouts seem naff, no double floor not properly winterised, over 3m high. Missed out any between 7m to 8m probably most popular A Class sizes.

Looks like they have thrown it together out of bits they have around rather than design it, don't think it will appeal to the typical A Class buyer.
A bit like the rest of their range aimed at caravaners.
