1) TRUCKS: from 3,5t up to 12t 90kms/h
2)Buses from 3,5t up to 10t 100kms/h
3) Buses up to 3,5t 100kms/h

Now, motorhomes up to 3,5t .....rules are the same than for a car

As for the heaviest motorhomes

Town center , even though it is written 70kms , it can only be 50kms/h

Thanks yodeli

I did not know >3.5t was limited in towns/villages to 50kph even when sign at entry shows 70kph.

Although I doubt whether one would be chalenged in a motorhome which has been uprated to 3850kg and still looks like 3500kg - unless there were a random check for alcohol/stolen vehicles, but do they do speed checks at the same time?

Do French Police accept the UK V5C Registration as 'Proof of Ownership' even though it states it is not? I do carry my Bill of Sale in case.
