215 to 225 Tyres

2002 Hymer B544 existing tyres are 215/75/r16 and the tyres I would like to fit only come in 225/75 will this compromise anything or can they be fitted without a problem. Thanks in advance.

We did it on our 2014 B544 with 15” wheels (215/70 to 225/70), keeping the same profile will increase the circumference / side wall height a little.
May be worth checking at a decent tyre place to ensure clearance but it’s not much.

I’ve done a few posts on this, I can’t find them .

But there are lots of sites you can check the size changes on. It’s just wheel arch and steering/suspension clearance I think you will need to be careful with.

Size change otherwise will be within tolerance
