Burstner Elegance
Hi I know this has been done many times and I have read everything I can find and still cant get any joy.

So I have stripped out the side pockets and most of the lower dash, also the top cover from the dash to windscreen. I have checked the fuses and relays with a power probe/MM. I found a blown 20A fuse beside the battery, as mentioned elsewhere, changed it, no difference ,its not blown again and there is power there. The biggect problem I am coming up against is the Fiat/Burstner interface.

The Burstner loom has many white/white&Red looms most with a number printed. The ones that go to the doors for windows, mirrors and demist are 245, etc and these are them connected to a 'normal' loom, ie multi coloured 7 core for the mirrors, 5 for the windows etc. both sides of the vehicle appear to be connected by this W/W&R loom, but there is no visible number stamped.

There is no power going to either side of the vehicle when tested through these looms and can only assume that they have either an in line fuse of some sort or I have read about the window control unit H090, but I think this is for older Ducatos.

In addition, the tracker has also developed a fault, which we consider to be linked as there is power to it, but when you drive it, it sends an alarm to the tracker people, but they are seeing that the vehicle is been transported, so presumably working off its internal power source and there for not getting a live feed from the van.

So my my questions are, does anyone know where this control unit is and any other ideas of where the issue my lie.

PS all this has come to light since trying to sort an issue with the Head Unit screen not working, Cannot see how they could be connected in any way but.....

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Walt.

Please ignore all of the above, the biggest schoolboy error of schoolboy errors ever on record :giggle::mad::rolleyes:. fixed.
