Well I say two. Im not fussed myself personally.

We have two rather old now folding mountain bikes. They are passed their best and are a bit bulky to store. We carry a Honda Scooter so the folding bikes are just for messing about on. Anyone got a pair gathering dust they want to sell? If not what would be the recommendation? I think smaller wheels might help than the mountain bikes have for portability and they seldom get used off road anyway. I'm ooop North. Barnard Castle Richmond area.

Hi barryd, we have two folders we don't use any more, bigger van with a back rack means we take full size bikes now.
They are in good condition with little use, I have put new tyres on both bikes as the old ones were starting to crack.
How would £120 the pair sit with you ? I am in North Lincs but could meet you half way up the A1 should you wish ?
PM me your mob number and I'll send you some photos

Colin

Hi Barry D we will soon be selling our two manual Bromptons each with their (non Brompton) carry bag.

If you are interested, please PM me and I’ll give you more details about these bikes.

Thanks

Hi Barry, I've just joined the forum tonight, but as it happens, I am picking up two new electric mountain bikes tomorrow (and have just added a tow bar and bike rack) so I have two folders. However they are quite new and were an expensive bike so won't be cheap. But they are quite light (aluminium) really good in excellent (virtually new) condition and fold just about as small as bromptons (they have a double fold) but have bigger wheels than the bromptons. They are Tern BYB P8 (8 speed). https://www.ternbicycles.com/uk/bikes/471/byb-p8
I would be looking for £500 each for them.
If you're interested, just let me know for pics etc (I'm not quite as 'up' north as you, I'm in East Yorkshire)
Cheers
