I have a Burstner Eliseo which uses a Schaudt. 119 Elektroblock. There is an intermittent ground short on the 2 amp circuit, fuse next to leisure batteries. When fault exists I have a dead short to ground on the output side of the fuse. I've checked cable continuity and to earth from fuse to block 3 pin 5 and ok. Disconnected L100 outputs to water x 2 sensors but no difference. Currently all working ok ( left water sensors disconnected) and waiting for it to fail again to continue fault finding. Any help much appreciated.

On the ebl119 wiring diagram the leisure battery 2a fused EBL sensor supply appears to go to pin 5 block 2 with its negative side being at pin 2 (pin 5 block 3 , is 12v indicator , with pin 11 being + sensor and pin 2 being - sensor )

Thanks, yes I have the wiring diagram. The issue is everything works and tests ok. Then when the fault occurs there is a short which when I last started to trace it, it disappeared again. I'm thinking it could be a problem with the plug and socket on the 119 unit and by moving cables/plugs it clears the fault. It's unlikely to be an electronic failure in the unit as they are usually terminal.
