12v 150 psi Digital Air Compressor

Remember to run your engine when using an electric air pump it will last longer.dave

How far does the T MAX reach please. The hose looks quite long but what about the cable?

Surely if you have a FLAT tyre though you'd replace it as there must be a major fault with it????
Not necessarily my dear, had a faulty valve extender on one that completely deflated the tyre!

Yep, I agree, got to be careful you don't touch Minxy knee aswell or she will nail you in 2032.
Nah, I prefer the direct immediate approach ... not saying what but it would certainly make your eyes water. :sneaky:

As a general rule of thumb if the compressor comes with a ciggy type socket plug it will struggle with motorhome tyres and as said could overheat and damage your wiring.

This is a link to the compressor I purchased (different seller) 18 months ago, it has performed well topping up my tyres and others have been allowed to use it. I am not saying it's in same league as the Ring models recommended by others but it's a great piece of kit and reaches all four wheels without an extension. ( friends have also purchased one after using mine) It comes with a zippered storage bag. So anyone wanting a reasonably priced compressor this may be of interest.

Hi all, I have Gloop in all my tyres, front/rear on the bike, all four on the car and MH. Does it work I hear you all cry, well, yes it does. I had a slow leak in the offside tyre on the car, I followed the instructions, moved the car so the valve was around the eleven o’clock mark, remove the schrader valve until tyre was empty of air. Fitted the gloop bottle via the tube and squeezed to relevant amount of gloop in. Refit the schrader valve and pumped to correct pressure. No slow leak, no having to repump every so often.

Okay about a tenner per bottle, but the time and trouble it takes otherwise is worth it.

There is other stuff out there that does the same job.

Just my tuppence worth.

Stop mucking about with cheap inflators. This clips on to a battery, so no burning out wiring harnesses or blowing fuses etc. It is quick and the hose will reach all around the motorhome.

Ring RAC900 Heavy Duty Tyre inflator. It all fits into a very convenient bag.

A top piece of kit. Buy quality, buy once!

I have a decent Halfords inflator that copes with the pressures required on. My motorhome but the leads don't reach the rear tyres. Any ideas?

I'd put odds on that the gubbings in your Ring 600 are the same as the one I've got ... how about a game of 'operation' on them? :D;)
As the owner of both the Ring 600 and an Autotech there is no comparison. Ring vastly superior.

I have tried several 12v inflators, but the one which works at the high pressures is the Ring 900,good piece of kit.

On the same theme, does anyone have any experience of the rechargeable 'Air Hawk Pro' hand held inflator? I know it's not in the same league as the Ring 900 but for a quick top up of a few PSI, would it cope with the high pressures of MH tyres? It seems that any manufacturer wanting to impress just adds 'Pro' to the end of their product name to imply professional quality so I'm not going to be misguided by that. Link to the product :

Mmmmh, not sure it's for car tyres never mind motorhome tyres. The only referenece I can see for cer tyres is -
Not only can you charge the Air Hawk PRO and take it anywhere, with the car adaptor you can inflate your tyres whenever you notice them running flat even if your Air Hawk PRO battery has run out of charge.
How it would do that with no charge ????????????

Because the inflator comes with a dummy battery pack with cable and cigarette lighter plug that allows the inflator to get power directly from the vehicle.
