We have used the Caravan & Boat seat cover centre twice now and twice we have been totally impressed with them
We were recommended to them by our workshop manager Dave Chambers who had been to them for some repair work to the seats in his caravan. We had been chatting and I was moaning about how uncomfortable our settees were in our lounge. He said that he had had the "Caravan & Boat" people do some work, and that they had recommended changing the foam and said the difference was amazing.
We drove up to their premises in Bristol, and we immediately impressed with their mix of friendly, unhurried professionalism. We chatted about our problem, were offered solutions and price options over a coffee and a biscuit. Their showrooms are large and full of examples of their work, but better still, their workshops are on view as the whole rear wall is glazed so you can see the craftsmen and women at work.
A week or so later the promised phone call came and our new settee cushions were ready to collect.
When we arrived there were a couple of motorhomes in the car park. One was being measured up for a total refurbishment, and the other was being collected. The couple told us that they were delighted with the finished job, as were we when we saw our cushions.
We had been thinking about getting some of the soft covers and seats from our boat replaced as a combination of sun, sea and salt hammers soft furnishings and upholstered panels. It was soon sorted after a quick chat that it was absolutely no problem for them if we delivered all the items we wanted recovering, they would advise the best materials and work out a quote.
We collected everything last Friday and to say we are pleased is an understatement, everything is perfect, everything is exactly as they said it would be, and we are so pleased.
Made better by the fact that they contacted us a few days after they started work and said that the material that we had selected, wasn't working as well as they would like and asked if they could send a sample of a slightly dearer fabric which would produce the desired effect.
They did, we agreed to the material change totally expecting the invoice to be marginally higher, but no, the change was because it wasn't working as well as they wanted, not to charge us more money.
They just wanted very happy satisfied customers, and they certainly have achieved that!
