Bought 2016 Frankia from Northamptonshire branch
Approx date of transaction
April 2026
We bought our Frankia from their Northampton branch in Wellingborough ( they had just taken over White Arches motorhomes)
We had good service from them , we’ve had a few issues but these have all been fixed without issue.
The branch we used have now moved the motorhomes to the same site as their caravan sales in Rushden Northants, this is where the servicing was done anyway.
We are very pleased with the Frankia and the service we’ve had from Spinney

Bought our 2017 Bailey Autograph 79-4T from Staffordshire branch.
Best price on this model at the time in UK with warranty and free extras.
Excellent experience from viewing and buying to handover.
Great communication from Barry.
The van has had two owners prior to us originally sold from new by Spinney and second owner bought it from Spinney, so they had all the history.

Initial first outing produced some snagging although nothing major , they asked us to bring it back and they put everything right and more.

All brands and dealers reputations are made or broken by its people.

Absolutely nothing bad to say and no regrets.

Warranty work, Really?
Approx date of transaction
June 19 - August7 2026
We bought a new to us 2024 plate Swift Escape 640. It had 1600 miles on the clock when we took delivery. The rear view camera wasn’t working despite me having asked them to fix it 4 weeks previously. They delayed us by three hours as the hunted for, and eventually found and replaced a damaged connection cable. Three days after collection we drove to France. We hadn’t had time to look round it as we had had lots of family commitments. On in inspection in France we discovered that the heating control panel was ston e dead, We had had an engine management warning light on from around 60 miles after leaving home, there was staining in the bathroom toilet roll cubby hole, one of the hob rings wouldn’t ignite, the dashboard phone holder was broken, the dashboard top looked like it had been prised open and then not put back properly, the knob fell off the shower door, but I glued it back on. The whole MoHo was dusty and glass surfaces covered in finger prints. It hadn’t been PDI’ed. The service dept did try to get the heating working by walking me through a series of tests via the phone to no avail.
We used a kettle for hot water for our nearly 3 week holiday.
When we got home I booked in for remedial work. I was advised that the engine warning light had been diagnosed as a DPF fault and it had been rectified. The Alde heating and the hob were going to have to be repaired under warranty, a staggering 8-12 week wait while they contacted Swift. I said this was not on, the van should have had everything working from the get go, they insisted it would be warranty work.
I decided not to display my rage at this as I thought I might be ejected from the site.
I did some research and posted on MoHofun to see what others thought and Jim advised me about the Consumer Rights Act 2015, so armed I rang them back and after some truly awful customer service, being talked over and still claiming that the work was subject to warranty and even being hung up on I got the MD on the line, who had the cheek to ask ME to remain professional while we discussed the issues, he also corrected my vocabulary as he obviously isn’t as well read as me.
He agreed that they would attempt to source the required components as fast as possible, it took them less than two hours as I had previously predicted, and we agreed that I would take the MoHo back to them 24 hours later.
They subsequently fixed/replaced all the damaged bits and pieces apart from the staining in the bathroom.
I picked it up and 2 miles from the engine warning light came back on!
