I have given Richard Baldwin’s a five star this is the second time I have purchased a new motorhome from them yes I have had problems which I have to say were manufactured faults but they went to the ends of the earth to fix and to make sure I was happy I have to travel over 1 hour to get to them but I won’t go anywhere else I have owned and run my own garage for 37 years and understand the need for honesty with my customers as do Richard Baldwin’s well done Richard in service Everyone in sales

Having ordered our van at the NEC October show, we didn't take delivery until the following June. Despite the long wait, the van sat idle at the dealership for three weeks. We specified a number of after market items such as Gaslow and a solar panel. The Gaslow was fitted incorrectly making impossible to attach a filler hose to the nozzle. The solar fit was just satisfactory. A rubber door mat that was missing took them four months to supply. They didn't even put the number plate on straight! They also made a mistake registering the vehicle with the DVLA, leading to a further delay. As there were lots of small issues with fit and finish we concluded that a proper PDI was not carried out.
We flagged up a number of issues during the handover but as they always had a ready excuse and an air of incompetance we were lucky to be able to have all our warranty work done by another dealer.

We bought a 2 year old Burstner in 2014. We both fell for the interior and has we already had a T660 we what to expect. The only stipulation was that they changed the worn front tyres.
We picked it up and almost immediately set off on our first trip to Southern Ireland. We were on the A55 road to Holyhead when we heard a knocking from somewhere. A few miles on and as it was now getting louder I thought I had better stop and have a look round the van. It seemed to be coming from the off side front wheel but as I was inspecting it the police arrived and advised us to pull of before looking any further. We pulled off at the next junction and as by now we had lost the off side wheel trim checked I the wheel nuts - ALL OF THEM WERE LOOSE! and the wheel was starting to run out of true.
Obviously I checked the other front wheel, that had also lost its wheel trim AND THOSE NUTS WERE ALL LOOSE. What kind of mechanic forgets to tighten wheel nuts?

Bugger!!!! that could have been a disaster. I am an experienced engineer and would consider myself to have a good working knowledge of all things mechanical, I wonder what could have happened to the average owner without this knowledge.

Because it was obvious these 'new' tyres were not brand new I suspect that these wheels and tyres were taken off other MoHo on the pitch and changed by a lad in the yard.

I did give them a piece of my mind for nearly killing us but I would let it pass if they simply replaced the two Fiat wheel trims.

This then became a saga unanswered Emails and false promises in reply to many phone calls over a period of 9 months. Eventually they sent me a set of the cheapest wheel trims available from Ebay.
I had to buy a pair of genuine Fiat ones myself for the sum of £60.

For the price of a pair of wheel trims they have lost a good customer - who will never deal with them again and will forever bad mouth them to everyone who asks.
