Currently lots of threads to search on R16 tyres but not 15s. I have 15s on a plated 3850kg Low profile in 3 years it will be back to 3500kg when my C1 is due for renewal and wife wont be renewing C1. So I don't want agro of going to 16s (should have done it 2 years ago if it was happening). What are current best options Nangkang NK van 225/70 cw25 , toyo nano energy 225/70 112, Falken Euro allseason van11 225/70, or Maxxis or something entirely different.

I’ve put Bridgestone Duravis All Season tyres on mine and saves me carrying snow chains when travelling to Spain in January, I’m not a fan of cheap tyres.

We were previously shod with Michelin Agilis Campers and found that, with the mh fully loaded for European trips, the front wheels could lose grip on wet roads, particularly when climbing inclines. Before our current trip to the French alpine regions we fitted Michelin CrossClimate Campers to be ready for any eventuality. Sods law that the only bad weather was on the first day, over two weeks ago, driving from Caen to Saumur. Since then, it's been consistently some of the best weather we've ever enjoyed in France.

Nevertheless, they have proved themselves in easily negotiating muddy areas (from previous rainfall) that would have had the Agilis Campers struggling. We simply have confidence that our CrossClimate tyres will handle whatever is thrown at them, which the Agilis Campers never did.

Not quite sure of the relevance of the future 3500kg down-plate. What are your axle limits?. All the tyres listed are only suitable if your axles are rated at less than 2240kg which is probably the case but worth checking
