So my wife and I opted for eBikes to go travelling once at our campsite, but I was curious to hear what other MHF folks used for transport? Given the lack of a survey option on this forum (well not one that I can see), reply with the number that has your vote and I'll summarise/chart at the end.

1. Bikes/ebikes
2. Scooter
3. Towed car
4. Taxis/busses/trains/walking
5. Up sticks and drive your MH to the tourist spot you wish to visit

Tandem for us, with Swytch conversion to electric. Been all over Europe with it and now fits straight into our Chausson 650 garage instead of lifting up onto Hugh level Autotrail bike rack.

Depends where we are and how long for but we often hire a car. Often there is little choice apart from the big companies but we have occasionally found small outlets or garages that offer good rates.
Once on the Isle of Wight I found a second hand car dealer who hired us a 10 year Fiesta, fully insured etc.. no need to worry about dents and scrapes as it was full of them. Did the job.

Too many poor drivers around for me and SWMBO to risk it.
I have spent last decade teaching defensive riding both in U.K. and Middle East through my Safety First Cycle Group in conjunction with British Cycling.

For the Middle East that probably means an AK47 but seems a bit OTT for UK roads. Tell us more.

We use two Raleigh Motus e-bikes to get about and carry the dog about on mine. Up to 75km range if careful. Carry them on a Thule towbar rack. They’re great but not cheap.

4 or 5, but '4' covers quite a disparate bunch.

1 & 4. Bus passes in the UK work very well especially with companies apps offering live information and easy planning.
