Is your Motorhome level?

You're supposed to place his pillow under his head not on top, no wonder he struggles! 😆
Wouldnt make a difference as he is on CPAP 🤣

I have set our levellers to be slightly down at the front. This is so the toilet seat does not suddenly come down and trap my c%%k. 😭😭😭
Why do you kneel down to pee? 😄

We use a can of beer on the worktop it soon rolls to the low side, probably more accurate than a tiny spirit level
Empty or full?

Ah but has it been correctly calibrated? The ring pull will affect it's accuracy! 😄

I imagine that those of you of a certain generation, will have heard the fairy tale relating to the "Princess and the Pea"?

Well, not only is my wife similarly fussy with regard to the smoothness, and all round comfort, of her mattress, if the MH is anything less than absolutely horizontal, in all planes, then she will be unable to get a good night's sleep.

It has been a pain in the backside for as long as we have been in the MH holiday business, but sadly the expense of hydraulic levelling devices has never been within my remit, . . . . . . . apart from which the added weight would have meant that SWMBO would have to take less shoes, handbags, and frocks, . . . . . . . . another pain in the backside !
😬🤐🤐🤐

More seriously, the only thing that annoys me if the van isn't level (as long as our heads are above our feet at night) is oil in the frying pan not being evenly spread. But I generally fry outside so it's rarely an issue

We don't worry too much, except we prefer not to sleep with our feet higher than our heads.

Big dix crew are here in force now! 🤪

I suppose you all use said ‘appendage’ to check how full the cassette is too! 🤣🤣

Used to, but not accurate, the markings were in mm or cm depending on the time of day and how cold it was, I went back to using her toothbrush handle instead.......🤔

If frocks are a pain in the backside I think you're wearing them the wrong way....

We have always checked if we are reasonably level using either a spirit level or an app on the phone. We put it on the middle of the edge of the worktop, just above the fridge.

However, on our last trip, I noticed that the measurement varied a bit, depending on where I placed the level on the worktop (which is only about 40 x 40cm). It could go from 'up at the front left' to 'up at the back right'! So, clearly our worktop itself isn't absolutely level. I'll be less precious in future and only get out the levellers if it is clearly not level!

I made my own levelling block with bits of pallet wood i found lying around, its about 3 or 4 different levels.
Only 1, and i just stick it under which wheel needs it the most, works fine.

I find if my feet are higher elevation than my head, even slightly, i cant fall asleep properly

Levelled it once, when we were new to it and keen. don't think we've bothered since. When we stop for the day, I cannot be doing with all the faffing around when I just want to get the wine open. Never rolled out of bed yet.

Even after the wine? 😀

Its obviously "The Effort" of making the van level that counts more than the end result.
I cannot count the times I have seen so many Van Drivers get the leveller ramps out, place under designated single wheel or wheels front or rear, normally with very helpful partner guiding the driver up the ramps, bit more, bit more....STOP!
Driver shouting out OK,OK that will do! I aint movin no more! Burn the bloody clutch out at this rate!
I kid you not in most cases the van seems less level now than before they started, but at least they had a go, and now they can sit and blame each other in the tried but yet again failed attempt.:giggle:;)
LES
That's the reason we have hydraulic levellers. To get a good nights sleep Mrs Colpot has to level.

Do you “level” with her? Or can she do it on her own?
Just askin’
I push the buttons and then the magic happens and then we are level and have a good nights sleep

Very droll, old chap !

I think I made it quite clear that the frocks belonged to my wife; I much prefer a nicely fitted trouser suit; . . . . . . . . . regardless I appreciate the humour, . . . . . droll though it may be.

:giggle:(y)

I find getting the outside table level more of a problem, if it's not dead level pans slide off the induction hob. 😭
Just put a thin silicone sheet between pan and hob Lenny
