So CCP have managed to ruin their app with the latest update. The search is non- functional and the whole UI is seriously unfriendly. The android version is worse than the iPhone version as it no longer has a map. Loads of negative feedback so expect a new update shortly.

They seem to have changed thier website and App, I now find I cannot access my account by either method... the website and App both keep crashing when filling in the 'Contact Form'. I've tried sending them an email, I'll wait to see what happens. Plus the new look seems awful.

just gone onto the app before heading to France in April. Found it was all in French. Had to re log in then in profile change the language as others had suggested. As for the map found it... Press one of the options ie: Campaign, near the top there is a scroll across list (left to right) Campaign, Heritage etc. Press Nearby... Press Carte... brings the map up near to where you are.

I’ve just logged in and it all seems to be working fine on my iPhone. Just tap on search icon and then “carte” comes up even though I’ve selected English.

The App works properly on my iPhone but on the iPad I get the map OK but pressing on an Aire symbol doesn’t bring up any info or photos.

Strange.

V200.0.6 is now out for iOS but has still not rectified the fault with no information being provided when clicking Icons on the Map.

Below 'Install' there is a note saying 'You do not have any devices'. So I presume it is not available on a laptop.

I would have thought that it would be web based on a pc, hence the link.

Would be cheaper than trying to provide individual apps for the various device types that could run the web version.

Yes, but, gives a link to download an App !
I have seen much better webites.

The only park I have looked at (Grandcamp Maisy), is hoplessly out of date.

It says water is available - but it is only for rinsing cassettes.

The whole site is now just dirty grey gravel - no grass. And nowhere near level.

Went on yesterday as they were supposed to be bringing the website up to date. Totally useless. At least the app seems sorted after 5 weeks of constant bug fixes.

Not yet sorted on iPad as far as I can see.

I'm on android. Just checked and it looks to be working okay.

Probably depends on which IOS version you’re running and the respective app version.

My older iPad is working fine but the latest app and IOS on my iPhone just brings up the blank page still.

Yes, I am fortunate that I am running an older IOS version on my iPhone. The CCP Aire App still works on it.

I have made a complaint to CCP that I have pre-loaded my card with €200 for an App that won’t work during our trip starting next week.

I also paid for their paper map last year which shows Aire locations. That allows me to cross-reference the name with the list of Aires.

Not the best of updates though, is it?

No, it's been a complete fiasco. Regarding the paper maps I've noticed that tourist offices in the towns that have a CCP quite often have a pile of maps to give away free so it's worth keeping an eye out as they go out of date so quickly. Which reminds me, on the detailed web page for each aire is a section called "Good Plans" A lot of the details are missing since the update but it's always worth checking as we've had some good freebies from tourist offices by showing our Pass Etape card when it's been listed as available on the website. Eg, canvas bag for life stamped with the town or region name and containing samples of local produce, pens, unbreakable drinking vessels etc. They describe it as a Welcome Pack.

Now in France and all the Icons have disappeared off the map on iPhone. The App is now virtually useless for planning the next move.

Having topped up my card by €200 before this trip I am not happy. The latest update has been a fiasco for Apple products users.

This morning the App is working again on iPhone, (perhaps it was down last night for repair), but still not on iPad.

Still, it is usable again on my phone.

On an IPhone 14. All seems ok. Opened map, random selection and everything seems visible.

If you want “depressing” look how many Aires the UK has.

Camping Carpark are keeping Aires alive. Towns can’t supply these places free of charge.
