I had a friend who told his kids when growing up that if they hear an ice cream van playing music it meant he has run out of ice cream

It just made me think, I wonder if my kids would believe me if I said santa has had his sleigh stolen so can't come this year

I know a chap who told his kids when they were young that if they were good, they could go to bed early as a treat !!
