A 2000 4 Berth Autocruise Vista on a Peugeot Boxer base.
4.78m long, so fits in a standard parking space, 2.5m wide and 2.9m high.
This is the overcab version, nominally making it a 4 Berth, but for us is has meant a wealth of additional storage for bedding, bags etc. I believe this is fairly rare, but only from group posts on FB.
We have owned this for three years, it has been a fantastic first motorhome which we didn't intend to sell, but having just picked up a 'new' Starspirit we cannot keep both.
Since purchase we have spent a lot of money on the van, externally with lots of welding and a new cross member at the front, which should last for another ten years easily.
Internally, I have lowered the drivers seat base to accomodate being 6 ft and now able to see out of the screen.
We have also replaced all of the internal lights (less washroom) with LED versions, updated the solar panel charger to a Victron MPPT and replaced the leisure battery (last year) with a 110 Amp one.
I would note my habitation check engineer said that it had one of the smallest solar panels he has ever seen, but the upgrades have meant that this charges sufficiently to keep the battery going as long as the 1000W Inverter is not used too much.
Repair and maintenance wise, it has been serviced for the last three years we have owner her, most recently 25 Jan 24 when MOT was passed with only minor issues noted. This is good to 1 Feb 25 at 87712 miles. I will note that this has the 'classic' 3/4 gear crunch on the gear box. I have had it checked by two garages and a gearbox specialist, who all said it would be fine to run as is after a fluid change (done) rather than the cost to repair/replace. This is minor enough that I barely notice it now, but want to be open and up front.
4 x Michelin Agilis Cross Climate Tyres were fitted in March last year, so only have 3000 miles on them. They have transformed the noise and ride comfort compared to the old tryes!
The Whale internal water pump was replaced last year, new starter motor, new horn, oil pressure switch and aerial all fitted in the last two years. I also replaced the front Heki skylight when the old one decided it was too old and brittle and blew off. The photo on the ferry of the roof is before this was replaced.
I also have a Polar Screen external cover and internal stick on ones, 2 x Fiamma ramps, a plug to convert the TV power socket (2 pin) to a cigarette lighter style and a Kampa awning, which I have never used. These can be included or negotiated on sale depending on how close to the asking price I get. I can provide the VRN on request to allow you to confirm MOT and mileage if required.
Based just outside of Andover, Hampshire. If there any other queries then please do not hesitate to ask, she has been a great first motorhome for us and we will be sad to see her go.
