I would like to visit the palace of Aljaferia at Zaragoza and was wondering if anyone could suggest a safe and convenient campsite ?

Not cheap but fairly easy to find and buses into City centre from about 200m away.

The city is well worth a visit we didn't get to the palace but the Basilica del Pilar, Cathedral and Goya museum along with an excellent lunch filled our day up last May.

Edit: if your going soon take a warm coat!!

Oh good. I am more worried about the dog getting overheated if I have to leave her in Thebus.

Not sure about Zaragoza, but here in Benidorm and surrounding area dogs are not permitted on the busses.

Buses are not much use to me, and not being able to walk far I am stranded at the other end, and my mobility scooter is not small enough for public transport

What about taxis? Do they accept large dogs?

You can ask the taxi service if they will take a dog, but many do not here in Spain for whatever reason. The dog may be fine in the MH depending on the time of year ( December to end of March ) is cold enough in the shade.
