I have a number of music video clips downloaded and saved from Youtube..

I used RealPlayer or RealPlayer Plus, (can't remember which:Doh:) I have not used it for a while though.

I just opened Youtube through the Internet Browser in RealPlayer. It then gave the option to download file (a small box at the top of the clip appeared which says "Download This Video" ) when I put the mouse / cursor over the clip.

I do remember that on some clips I could only download when I was outside the UK.
There must have been issues over copyright I guess.

I use "download helper" a Firefox plugin. It downloads pretty much any video I have found so far... I have been using it for 2 years now and have a good collection of youtube videos which means I don't have to be online to watch/listen anymore..
