Hi I'm back again thanks for the suggestions about back charging my vehicle battery from my leisure battery, but has anyone used the small solar panel that you put on your dashboard and plug into the cigarette lighter socket because I've heard good and bad things about them.

We use one on our car when we are away in our van, any extra charge is good in my opinion.:thumb:

I use two of these. A 4.8w plugged into cigar lighter (make sure yours is live without ignition switched on) for the starter battery and a 2.4w connected by crocodile clips to the leisure battery. Never had a problem starting the van even after being left for a month without running the van. Don't bother with with 1.5w ones, they are just too small to have any effect.

I notice you have an Autosleeper Worcester - there is an excellent forum for AS owners www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com (free)
