Visiting Yorkshire in a fortnights time, will be using "Britstops" and also need a few wild spots if there any?

Yorkshire is a big county. Where are you looking to be spending time?

A168 between Wetherby and Boroughbridge has lots of secluded pull offs. Parallel to the M1. By the river near Ripon Racecourse. Big pull off layby on A59 near Menwith Hill. Big pull off either side of the road near York A59 near Whixley. I haven't stayed in any as I live near them. There are actually lots of places but North Yorkshire is huge and Yorkshire even huger so if you are more specific it would help. Towns, Dales ,Moors, or Coast?
