As I have no idea what Steampunk is would someone be good enough to give mean idea/explain it.

Is it just dressing a certain way or is it centred around something else.

I had a bit of a search but nothing seemed to explain it.

Yeah I got the theme of the clothes etc just didn’t know if there was more involved.

We like jive and will dress in that era clothes at say Retro Festival.

With steampunk your in a world where Victorian society diverges from what we have today,so the world will have steam driven modes of transport as the norm,airships are the main air transport,steam trains for long distance land transport,a mix of horses and steam carts/omnibus for local transport,gentlemen will tend to be well dressed (top hats etc) and sometimes carry a sword and/ or pistol ,ladies in formal dress but plucky heroines might carry a pistol and use it to defend their honour ,the underclass will tend to be very much as you would imagine the Victorian east end would look and behave with various ruffians ,scoundrels and street toughs praying on the honest working class.

Whitby goth Rally 2022

The Goth dates have been released for October 2022

After 2 long years we can now run this rally!!!!!!

The rally starts after 12 noon 27th October until Sunday 30th October
Address: Caedmon College, Prospect Hill, Whitby, YO21 1LA

We have hardstanding, showers, toilets, and classroom for evening socialising.

Jacobs table Saturday lunch time before we walk into Whitby.
Bacon butties Sunday morning.

THE SCHOOL REQUESTS ALL DOGS TO BE ON LEADS AND TO CLEAR ANY DEPOSITS THEY MAY LEAVE.
More info given on arrival.

Limit is 25 motorhomes/caravans including marshalls

Cost £14 per unit per night which includes the hire of the room

Marshall’s Weekenders (Bob and Val) and The Stig (Andrea & Jeff)
