I have a Swift Bolero. Next to the water inlet is a small cap (I haven't opened it) about 1'' in dia. What is this for. I've looked through the manuals and over the internet but cant find anything.

Appreciate anyone solving this mystery.

Cheers

I think you'll find it's a non-standard 2 pin 12v socket so you can use a submersible pump if you want to.

Yep picked mine up this weekend and I asked the same question, the dealer can give you a plug that you can wire to.

Supposed to be for filling the fresh water with a submersible pump as said above.

I saw one on a van once and it was used for main water supply. Allowed you to plug a hose in and get a continuous supply of water. He wasn't populer on that CL however because there was only one tap and he had put a rickety and unhygienic looking Y adapter on it.
