Why have I not found this site before?
We have a Swift Escape 624 and I totally love it. This is van no 4, it has taken that many to find our perfect set up. We started, I say we, I purchased a Bedford Rascal Bambi from Ebay as a day van (sight unseen, yes it was and don't say it I know!). Brian was with us a year and we laughed a lot, cried as much and spent as much on repairs as we did purchasing him but he gave us the love. Lottie the Pilote (A class) followed and she was a game old bird but broke down on a site in Oxford ( the worst we have stayed on). She got us home but her days were numbered. An Autotrail Mohican, Buffy, came next, really low mileage and comfortable for 2 but not enough berths to take our great nephew, who at 4 loves nothing better than a motorhome show. Now we have Mable and she is my happy place, I love everything about her and for the first time in years I don't dream of another Motorhome.
I have mentioned the worst site, shut now I think, but apart from that one I have enjoyed everyone so far. My favourite is stay 2 nights and move on and we have pretty much covered England with skirmishes into Scotland but restricted by only being able to have a week of work at a time. Retirement has never looked so appealing.
