    Buon viaggio.

Don't forget to take some gold sovereigns in case you want an evening drink in the Piazza San Marco, or a gondola ride

A lovely city - our favourite.

Hiya, we are in Camping Villa Al Mare in Cavallino, a bus and boat ride from Venice, which we will be doing tomorrow. Lovely campsite, and ACSI until 6th June. We are staying for a few days to rest and recuperate on the beach!

Travelled down through The Romantic Road and Austria, rained and rained and rained, but they are promising sun tomorrow! Have a great trip down

We've used Camping Ca' Savio (45.447125,12.465864) a couple of times. It's only about two miles from the ferry terminal at Punta Sabbioni and there's a bike track to/from Ca' Savio. The ferry ride via the Lido is very pleasant and takes around an hour. The site has a beach outside the back gate - great for an evening dip in the Adriatic after a day's sightseeing.
