Hi. Has anybody used an Avtex STH1000 suction mounted TV aerial and, if so, what do you think of it? Jenny

    Hi Jenny,

After reading a number of people's (motorhomers specifically) experiences of this model, I thought that I would risk it and splash the cash.

So far I have to say that I am impressed with the results. Just be aware that if there is no signal in your location then nothing will get the channels coming in. I would say so far that this will get good results with anything down to a "fair-to-middling" signal (sorry to get technical!). In other words, you certainly don't have to be sitting right next to a transmitter.

    Cheers,

    Steve

we have one and get more channels using this than we do using our status aerial in the same place. The suction pads are quite good too!
We sometimes put this on our flag pole for an even better reception:Smile:

Yep, we use one too. Really excellent. When not in the MH we use it in the house, stuck on window... Pulls in 140+ channels here in Normandy, out in the sticks. :thumb:
