Truma Varioheat Eco, only about 18mths old so I believe under warranty still (but trying avoid huge hassle of repair, no heater, my location etc).
Its been recently making a lot of noise at startup, like vibration when gas comes on, no noise if blower on cold so maybe not fan, but noise on heat. But in last few days ive gone to bed heating on and warming, woken up about 3-4am shivering and heater doing nothing. No red lights or shown errors (mines just the dial control not LCD). So the control shows no issues, yet no heat.
However if I turn the heater off for 10-20sec and back on, VOILA its again working fine (albeit same noises), heating again, for about 2-3hrs fine. Then again it stops outputting.
Any ideas team? Before I approach the nightmare of warranty, im full-time and in remote Scotland and thus trying return to dealer etc be impossible almost.
