Tripod Sky dish setting

    What is this bl**dy satellite that is a strong signal very close to sky, got locked on it today and difficult cos trees are in the way as I am parked up in the storage area on site as cheaper, quite nice though:Smile::Wink:

    anyway whats is this reading anyone

    At a guess.. 13 degrees east.. HOTBIRD..
    Is there lots of German channels ???

    i have found that hotbird is the easiest one to find due to its signal output
    but if you lower the dish so that the dish is almost pointing slightly down then turn about 5 minutes to the left i think you should find the astra satellite
