The reversing camera on my 2014 Tribute has stopped working and would like to try and fix it rather than take it back to the dealer under warranty. When I put the van into reverse the monitor which clips onto the rear view mirror lights up but just gives the message No signal.I have checked the connection from the camera to the extension cable and this is ok.I assume there must be some sort of control box hidden somewhere but I can't think where?Hopefully somewhere accessible .Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

"No Signal" is what my Computer monitor puts up on the screen when the power to the computer (separate) is OFF. Maybe the power to the Camera has failed? a Fuse perhaps?. or a connection has come loose at the camera?. I have had (older) systems and never had a separate control box, it`s usually built into the receiver?.

Just be sure that if it is a 2 input monitor with only one camera connected that the thing hasn't been accidentally switched over to the empty input. This has happened to me a few times

The only accessible plug is a black 3.5mm plug and this is secure.Cant see a yellow video plug unless it's above the rear cupboards and if it is I don't see a way of getting to it

If all else fails :- http://www.tributemotorhomes.co.uk/contact an e-mail might be your first step?. They may be inclined to offer advice and or a wiring diagram?.

BTW:- "Red and White" or "Black and White" ?.

Have you got this problem sorted?
If not - I found one of the wiring connections for the camera behind the shelves on the Off side above the drivers head.
The shelf has to be removed and then a panel removed and a rats nest of wiring is behind it. This is if your electric centre and fuses etc are in the O/S cupboard.
This is on a 2013 T715 - hope this helps and is relevant.

Thanks for your reply.I have contacted my dealer who are sorting out under warranty.I smoke to one of their fitters who thinks it's the screen rather than just a dodgy connection.
