Come off it Munchies.................You are trying to be another bird haven like Camperstopsierraespuna, keep looking, this spring we have, Kestral, Red Knecked Nightjar,Spotted cookoo,Long Tail Tit, Hoopoo, Green Woodpecker, and lots of small all look the same type. Shame we are leaving on Thursday, but we shall be viewing your Tree creepers next week, thats if we get through your site entrance, you do allow Spanglish motorhomers there. Lots to tell you about next seasons hiking routes.

I am sure while we were there we saw a pair of what I thought might be Buzzards nesting just across the other side of the little lake. They returned to the area repeatedly and occassionally roosted in a tree at the top of the field. (y)

Nice picture, and given where you are (assuming sw France) it is probably a short toed treecreeper, but I wouldn't be confident distinguishing between the two. The treecreeper we get in the UK is generally found in eastern France.
