This could save me some work

If anyone has a towbar fitted to a fiat ducato 4 where on the van is the 2 live feeds taken from. Ignition live and battery live.

Swapped my socket and the 2 lives are dead so either never connected . Fuses are blown or not in.

Just can see the tow cable heading to the front of the van. Haven't looked where it enters van yet

Cheers in advance

If its been wired for towing a trailer there may only be wiring for tail lights and indicators since the requirements are not the same as a caravan.

On 13 pin . Have tried engine running and off . Still not live . Will try to see where cable enters van at front
Odd that rear lights are not used as feeds for towbar

Should have one main feed from the Battery (fused) to the bypass relay which should be somewhere near the front, there is no power from the lights only a signal to the bypass which then powers the socket see a basic diagram here http://www.rydertowing.co.uk/towbar-wiring/13pin
